Zeekr X: A Premium Electric Car Launches with 0-100 km/h Speed in 4 Seconds – Key Features”

-

Zeekr, the electric vehicle brand owned by Chinese automaker Geely, has revealed the first images of its third model, a small crossover named the X. This marks a departure from the brand’s numerical naming scheme. The design for the X was created at Zeekr’s facility in Gothenburg, Sweden, which is also the location of Volvo’s global headquarters. Zeekr is notable for its partnership with Volvo, which Geely owns 82% of, and its co-ownership of Lynk & Co with Volvo.

The styling of the X has similarities to Zeekr’s first two models, but it still possesses a unique appearance. The two-part headlights resemble the front end of the 001, but the sharp and angular creases in the bodywork set it apart from the smooth 001 and 009. Zeekr boasts about the frameless doors and sideview mirrors, which enhance the crossover’s aerodynamics.

Measuring 175.2 inches in length, with a 108.3-inch wheelbase, and 72.3 inches wide, the X is an inch longer and wider than a Volvo XC40 Recharge. However, it is 3.1 inches shorter at 61.9 inches tall. The powertrain details have not been disclosed, but Zeekr states that the X will be built on the Sustainable Experience Architecture platform, which will also underpin other vehicles like the 001, 009, Smart #1, Lotus Eletre, and the upcoming Polestar 5. The brand claims that the X will reach 62 mph in 4.0 seconds. A full reveal is expected in April.

The X is expected to be the first step in Zeekr’s expansion into European markets, following its launch in China later this year. With the popularity of electric vehicles on the rise and the company’s close relationship with Volvo, Zeekr is poised to make a significant impact in the EV market.
