Vivo India has confirmed the launch date of its upcoming Vivo T2 series. The company announced that the series will include two models, the Vivo T2 and Vivo T2x, both with 5G network support. The phones will launch in India on April 11th at 12 noon IST and will be available via Flipkart, Vivo e-website, and offline retail outlets. The official poster shows the phones will be available in Blue and Gold color options.
Vivo T2, Vivo T2x specifications
The teaser image shows that both the Vivo T2 and T2x will come with dual circular modules on the back, housing two camera sensors and an LED flash. Both models have a boxy design with slightly rounded corners.
According to leaked specifications, the Vivo T2 is expected to feature an FHD+ AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 1300 nits. The phone is likely to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC, paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It is also expected to run on Android 13 OS out-of-the-box. The phone will support 5G network connectivity.
The Vivo T2x, on the other hand, is expected to be the cheapest 5G phone in the segment, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset. It will be available in 4GB/6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, which should be expandable.
