With a peak torque of 72NM, the scooter can accelerate from 0 to 40kmph in just 2.77 seconds and reach a top speed of 105kmph. Such performance places the Simple ONE in a league of its own, providing riders with an exhilarating and efficient commuting experience.
The Simple ONE’s sleek design is complemented by a 7-inch touchscreen display, featuring a customizable interface. The scooter is equipped with 4G and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, allowing riders to take calls, listen to music, and enjoy a range of smart features on the go. With IP67 ratings for the entire scooter, including the battery pack and display, the Simple ONE guarantees durability and protection against dust and water ingress.
Battery Technology:
The Simple ONE comes equipped with a 5KW battery system that includes both fixed and removable (portable) batteries. This innovative approach provides flexibility and convenience to riders, allowing them to extend the scooter’s range. With a promise of 212 km range in IDC (Indian Drive Cycle) with 6% State of Charge (SoC) remaining, the Simple ONE ensures a worry-free commuting experience. The scooter also supports fast charging, enabling a charging rate of 1.5 km range per minute at Simple Loop charging stations. Additionally, the home charging option allows users to charge from 0 to 80% in just 5 hours and 54 minutes.

The Simple ONE proudly embraces the “Made-in-India” ethos, aligning with the Government of India’s vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India). Simple Energy takes immense pride in its 214 Intellectual Property (IP) portfolio, showcasing the company’s commitment to innovation. Notably, the Simple ONE is the first e-scooter to feature a thermal management system developed in collaboration with IIT-Indore, effectively preventing any thermal runaways and ensuring the safety and longevity of the battery.
Pricing, Availability, and Expansion Plans:
The Simple ONE is available in a range of vibrant colors, including Namma Red, Brazen Black, Azure Blue, Grace White, BrazenX, and LightX. The ex-showroom price of the scooter starts at Rs. 1,45,000 and goes up to Rs. 1,58,000, inclusive of a 750W charger. Customers can already place their orders, and deliveries are scheduled to commence from June 6th, starting with Bengaluru and followed by other cities in a phased manner.
