Redmi 12C Review: Next-Level Performance and Immersive Viewing

-

The Redmi 12C is a well-rounded smartphone that has many features that will appeal to users who are looking for a fast and stylish device. The MediaTek Helio G85 chipset with its Arm Cortex-A75 and Arm Cortex-A55 CPUs and the Arm Mali-G52 MC2 GPU, make the device great for gaming and video streaming, without any lag.

The Redmi 12C also boasts impressive memory options, with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage, plus the ability to expand the storage to up to 1TB using the 2+1 card slot. Additionally, the connectivity options are impressive, with dual SIM support, Bluetooth v5.0, and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac.

The design of the Redmi 12C is sleek and stylish, with a plastic body that looks and feels premium. The phone is lightweight and easy to handle, and the IP52 rating makes it resistant to dust and water splashes.

The Redmi 12C’s battery life is impressive, thanks to the 5000mAh Li Polymer battery that can last all day. The night mode and other photography modes like Portrait, Time-lapse, Movie frame, and HDR, make it an excellent device for photography enthusiasts. The 50MP f/1.8 rear camera and 5MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture are great features to capture high-quality photos and videos.

One downside of the Redmi 12C is that it only supports 1080@30fps video resolution and 720p@30fps. Additionally, the inbox charger is a 10W Micro USB, which may not be as fast as other smartphones’ charging options.

Overall, the Redmi 12C is a great smartphone with impressive specs and features. The Android 12 OS with MIUI 13 also makes it a well-rounded device with a great user experience. However, the video resolution and charging options may not be as advanced as some other smartphones on the market.
