POCO is set to launch its much-anticipated POCO F5 5G mid-range smartphone in India. According to industry sources, the POCO F5 5G launch date could be April 6th, 2023. While the company has not confirmed this date, it seems POCO is looking at unveiling the phone in the first week of April.
Expected Specifications of the POCO F5 5G:
The POCO F5 5G is expected to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo that is expected to launch in China soon. The device will reportedly feature a 6.67-inch QHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1,400 nits brightness, HDR10+ support, and 1,920Hz PWM dimming. It is also expected to be powered by the brand-new Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset and comes with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
A triple camera system is likely to be present at the back and is expected to consist of a 50MP primary shooter and an 8MP and a 2MP secondary shooter. This camera system will be accompanied by an LED flash. on the front, the POCO F5 5G is expected to get a 16MP shooter for selfies and video calls. The POCO F5 5G could draw juice from a 5,500mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging and 30W wireless fast charging.
Expected Price of the POCO F5 5G:
There is no indication of the pricing of the upcoming POCO F5 5G mid-range smartphone in India. However, given the hardware specifications and vast competition, POCO will price it on par with its rivals. For reference, the POCO F4 5G, its predecessor was launched in India at Rs 27,999. Therefore, we can expect the POCO F5 5G to be priced similarly.
