Maruti Suzuki recently launched the Fronx compact SUV coupe and is set to launch the Jimny lifestyle off-road SUV later this month in India. The company is also expected to bring in a premium MPV based on the Toyota Innova Hycross in the next two to three months.

Maruti Suzuki’s YoY growth in domestic sales in April 2023 despite the semiconductor shortage reflects the company’s strong brand positioning and diverse product portfolio. The growth in the compact segment and midsize sedan sales, as well as the upcoming launches, indicate that Maruti Suzuki is poised for further growth in the Indian automobile market.
