So, the all awaited Valentine’s Day for 2023 is here which is celebrated across many regions. This day is considered the day of love and loved ones. Valentine Day is celebrated on 14th of February every year where the couples greet and express love for each other. On this occasion, Google has not missed the opportunity to wish every one by making Valentine’s Day doodle.
Furthermore, Google has quoted – Rain or shine, will you be mine? And mentioned that – Today’s Valentine’s Day Doodle celebrates the most romantic day of the year, when people all over the world express affection to their lovers, friends, and partners through gifts, greetings, and more.
Google also gave little information to its uses on this Valentine’s day saying that during the Middle Ages, European countries like England and France believed that February 14th was the start of mating season for birds? They associated this phenomenon with love and began romantic celebrations soon after. The holiday became more popular throughout the world in the 17th century.
The message from Google ended by saying “Whatever your forecast looks like today, we hope you enjoy celebrating with your special someone. Happy Valentine’s Day!”
History of Valentine’s day:
The celebration of Valentine’s day is restricted or banned in several countries due to several cultural beliefs. Well, February 14th is not the only day for the celebration for loved couples as the celebration for Valentine’s day starts a week earlier.
From 7th of February the couples start exchanging gifts and each day from then is marked as a special day. Starting February 7th, every days has its own name like Rose Day, Propose Day, Chocolate Day, Teddy Day, Promise Day, Hug Day, Kiss Day and finally on 14th of February it’s the Valentine’s Day.
