This update makes it simpler to align and time elements of a reel, with more exciting tools in the pipeline. The new editing features are available globally on iOS and Android devices.
Enhanced Reels Insights
Improvements to Reels insights will help creators better understand content performance. Two new metrics—total watch time and average watch time—will be added, allowing creators to identify areas where engagement can be improved. These insights will help creators adjust their content to better resonate with their audience and keep viewers engaged longer.

A new feature will notify creators of new followers gained from their Reels, highlighting how Reels contribute to their growth.
Gifts on Reels Expansion and Enhancements
We are excited to expand the availability of gifts on Reels to more markets, including Australia, Canada, France, Mexico, New Zealand, and the UK in the coming weeks. Additionally, a new feature will allow creators to see which fans have sent them gifts and acknowledge their support by tapping the heart icon next to their supporters’ names. This will send a notification to the fan, fostering a stronger connection between creators and their audience.
