Maruti Suzuki has finally launched the Fronx in the Indian market after its reveal at Auto Expo 2023. The subcompact crossover, which shares its platform with the Baleno, is offered in five trims: Sigma, Delta, Delta+, Zeta, and Alpha. It comes with two engine options: a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine with 90PS and a 1-liter turbo-petrol engine with 110PS. The prices for the Fronx start from Rs 7.46 lakh for the Sigma manual variant, going up to Rs 13.13 lakh for the Alpha Dual Tone automatic variant.

The Fronx boasts a mini Grand Vitara-like exterior design and a Baleno-like interior. It comes with top features such as a nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 360-degree camera, and up to six airbags for safety. The Delta, Delta+, Zeta, and Alpha trims also offer automatic transmission options.
In terms of competition, the Maruti Suzuki Fronx will rival other subcompact crossovers in the Indian market, including the Kia Sonet, Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, and Tata Nexon.
