Tata Motors, one of India’s leading automobile manufacturers, has announced the launch of the 2023 Harrier and Safari SUVs, with dealers accepting orders for these vehicles. While the new models will not see major changes to their engine sections, they will continue to be powered by the same 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine that produces 170 hp and 350 Nm. Both models will be available with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission, and will boast of revised driving modes with an ESP terrain response system and compliance with Bharat Stage Phase II.
Tata Motors is expected to price the new SUVs higher by Rs 50,000 – 1 lakh over the existing models, although the official pricing has not yet been announced. Additionally, Tata Motors has teased the Red Dark Edition, which was displayed at the Auto Expo 2023, featuring an all-new red interior.
